As the Telephony & UC Analyst, you will play a key role in understanding and optimising Calvary’s telephony and unified communications environment across all sites. You will analyse voice services, usage, costs, contracts and assets to identify opportunities for efficiency and develop a clear strategy for transitioning legacy telephony services to a modern, Microsoft Teams-based cloud telephony solution.
You will support the planning and delivery of telephony migrations, service porting, decommissioning and new activations, working closely with technology, service delivery, change and site stakeholders to minimise disruption to users and clinical operations. Through analysis, reporting and stakeholder engagement, you will help deliver a more efficient, cost-effective and modern communications environment across Calvary.
Key Responsibilities
- Telephony Discovery & Asset Management – Audit and maintain a centralised register of telephony assets, platforms, carriers, SIP/ISDN/PSTN services, contact centres, fax, emergency, duress and lift phones across all sites.
- Service Ownership & Contracts – Document service ownership, support arrangements, vendor relationships, contractual commitments and renewal requirements.
- Voice Consumption & Billing Analysis – Analyse telecommunications invoices, carrier agreements, service utilisation, call volumes and monthly spend across sites and business units.
- Optimisation & Cost Management – Identify unused or redundant services, analyse DID utilisation and recommend opportunities to reduce costs and improve service efficiency.
- Transition & Migration Planning – Develop and execute telephony transition strategies, including service decommissioning, porting, new activations and low-impact migration approaches.
- Telco Porting & Service Changes – Prepare porting documentation and coordinate telecommunications service activations, migrations and porting events with carriers and internal teams.
- Change Management & Communications – Work with change and service delivery teams to assess user impacts and coordinate communications for telephony transitions and decommissioning activities.
- Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement – Provide status and transition reporting, engage with site, clinical and technology stakeholders, and recommend improvements to user experience and operational efficiency.
