About the role
Calvary Riverina Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Ward Clerk who thrives in a busy environment to join our diverse, compassionate and dedicated team to provide effective and efficient administrative support and customer service. Our Ward Clerk plays a key role in liaising with staff, patients and their families and ensuring the delivery of exemplary customer service. Working both collaboratively and autonomously you will utilise your strong administration, computer and communication skills in this busy health care setting.
Your main duties will include:
- Coordinate administrative duties on the ward including processing incoming and outgoing mail and other communications/reports.
- Ward Reception and handling all incoming calls, communicating messages and redirecting calls to relevant personnel.
- Maintaining and Collating Medical records
About you
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work both within a team environment and autonomously
- Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel Outlook)
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
