Michelle Baldwin

Service Coordinator
Calvary Home Care Mid-North Coast Service Centre

After making the tree-change from Sydney to the coastal town of Forster, Michelle Baldwin sought a career change.
Ms Baldwin chose to study a Certificate III in Aged Care. The decision has led to a successful and fulfilling career in home care at Calvary.

As the new Calvary Mid North Coast Home Care Service Centre Service Coordinator, Ms Baldwin oversees the newly opened service centre in Forster, the satellite office in Cundletown and the Star of the Sea Respite Cottage.

“I initially started my career with Calvary as a support worker. I really enjoy being out in the community, helping clients to stay independent in their own home and making sure they’re happy and comfortable.”

A major aspect of Ms Baldwin’s role is overseeing the traineeship program which is run with Calvary St Paul’s Aged Care in Cundletown.

“We work alongside our colleagues at Calvary St Paul’s Aged Care to deliver the 12-month traineeship program, which also allows the trainees to do some of their face-to-face learning in aged care setting.”
