About the Role

Are you a detail-oriented professional passionate about infection control? Our Endoscopy Unit is seeking a motivated Sterilising Technician to join us on a permanent part-time basis. You will ensure the effective decontamination, sterilisation and reprocessing of endoscopic instruments, working in a fast-paced environment where precision and patient safety are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, disinfect and sterilise endoscopic equipment in accordance with HICMR guidelines
  • Follow established infection-prevention and control protocols
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of all sterilisation processes
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely turnaround of instruments
  • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism at all times

About You

  • Certificate III in Sterilising Services (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain one
  • Previous experience in sterilisation or endoscopy settings highly desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and infection-control best practices
