 About the role

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and under the direction and guidance of the Level 2 RNs, the Level 1 RN provides a strong patient centred care and focus, and is passionate about supporting the provision of excellence in health care standards.

The General Surgical Ward is a 20 bed newly renovated area that offers Colorectal, Urological (including Robotic services), Vascular, Gynaecological and other General Surgical services.

What you bring 

  • Registration with AHPRA and in possession of a current practicing certificate
  • Working with Vulnerable People Check
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated clinical competence in area of specialties
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
