About the Role
As a senior Registered Nurse in our Cardiothoracic ICU, you will:
Provide advanced, patient-focused care to critically ill and post-operative patients
Coordinate and delegate shift activities, ensuring safe, timely patient flow
Oversee the Quality & Risk portfolio and lead continuous improvement initiatives
Mentor junior staff and support the Nurse Unit Manager in operational decision-making
About You
AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience (Cardiothoracic background desirable)
Post-graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing
Proven leadership skills: able to work autonomously, prioritise under pressure and direct a multidisciplinary team
Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer-care skills
