About the role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinator the delivery of quality clinical services in line with a resident centred model of care
  • Manage and provide efficient, effective and compassionate care planning and assessment
  • Responsible to ensure medication management is provided in a safe and effective manner in line with legislative requirements and policy
  • Work collaboratively with staff, other health professionals, the residents, their families and Clinical Leadership team to ensure clinical decisions are based on best practice and positive resident outcomes

About you

  • Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (mandatory)
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
  • Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
  • Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
  • Experience in a clinical leadership role with the ability to manage day to day clinical issues
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and manage day to day activities in an efficient manner
  • Demonstrated computer literacy
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
