About the role
As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinator the delivery of quality clinical services in line with a resident centred model of care
- Manage and provide efficient, effective and compassionate care planning and assessment
- Responsible to ensure medication management is provided in a safe and effective manner in line with legislative requirements and policy
- Work collaboratively with staff, other health professionals, the residents, their families and Clinical Leadership team to ensure clinical decisions are based on best practice and positive resident outcomes
About you
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) (mandatory)
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
- Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
- Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience in a clinical leadership role with the ability to manage day to day clinical issues
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritise and manage day to day activities in an efficient manner
- Demonstrated computer literacy
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
