- Join the administrative rotational roster across operations of the department, including referral processing and intake, inpatient administrative activities and support to the outreach team.
- Maintain high quality clinical records and ensure accurate patient information.
- Provide administrative support to clinicians including generation of letters, communications and management of enquiries.

Essential skills:
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of administrative support to a clinical service and competency with MS Office, particularly the use of excel spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated well developed communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of people whilst maintaining confidentiality, sound judgement and exercising discretion.
- Proven ability to work independently with limited supervision and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Willing and able to a 7-day roster with flexibility to adapt with reasonable notice to work requirements when required.

Desirable skills:
- Previous experience in a palliative care environment.
- Working knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Salary Classification: Administration Officer Leve 3 Year 1 - 2
Remuneration: $35.84 to $36.96 per hour + super + annual leave loading
