  • Permanent Full-Time (4 x positions available / Part-Time will be considered)
  • Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 1-8.
  • Remuneration: $36.39 - $51.09 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
 
The Registered Nurse (Emergency Medicine) is responsible for the provision of high quality, safe, people-focused care to achieve desired clinical outcomes. To be successful in this role, you will have emergency nursing experience and a demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development. This role requires you to be available to work all shifts on a rotating roster including morning, afternoon, night shift and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs comprehensive and accurate nursing assessments of patients.
  • Delivers all care within scope of practice as defined by practice setting and competence.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, carers, colleagues and supervisors regarding patient care and assessments. 

What you bring 

  • Recent clinical experience in acute care or emergency nursing.
  • Demonstrated communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Knowledge of and willingness to work towards achieving Emergency Department Key Performance Indicators
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment and in periods of high demand and activity.
