As an Enrolled Nurse you will play a critical role in delivering safe, effective and appropriate patient care within a patient centred environment. This vital position necessitates a commitment to a seven-day rotating schedule, encompassing morning, evening and nigh shifts. Ward 5A is a dedicated 24-bed unit focused on the care of patients with a range of general medical conditions and Stroke care.

Employment details

Positions available: Permanent, Full-Time or Part-Time 

Salary Classification: Enrolled Nurse Med Endorsement Year 1-5

Remuneration: $32.79 to $35.63 per hour + super + annual leave loading

INCENTIVE: UP TO $2,000 RELOCATION INCENTIVE BY NEGOTIATION

Selection criteria (Essential)

• Enrolled Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Recent demonstrated experience in a general medical ward within a hospital.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand.
• Demonstrated effective communication, organisational and interpersonal skills

Pre-employment conditions:

• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.

• Successfully complete pre-employment checks. Checks include: reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC.

• Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
