As Heath Information Manager you will provide strategic advice and leadership in provision of Health Information Services to ensure orderly and secure storage of patient information, access to patient information for continuum of care, managing release of information within statutory guidelines, and management support for Activity Based Management (ABM). The Heath Information Manager will lead the Clinical Coding Unit and the Clinical Information Department. The position is responsible for providing strategic oversight to the patient services administration streams.

Selection criteria
- Degree in Health Information Management, or equivalent experience.
- Sound knowledge and experience in evaluating and establishing standards of Health Record Services and experience working in health information in a Hospital setting.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, developing and managing multiple teams.
- Demonstrated experience in working with privacy legislation, release of information legislation/polices

Employment Status: Permanent Full-Time
Salary Classification: Health Services Manager Level 3
Requirements:
- Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
- Successfully complete pre-employment checks as required for the role. Checks include: reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC.
- Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
