About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic anaesthetic nurses, EN's and RN's, to join our friendly theatre team at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. Casual, Part-time and Full-time work is available. Theatres operate Monday-Saturday with a rotating roster and a self-rostering overnight/weekend on-call system.
Your main duties will include:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team, so as to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.
Take an active role in the coordination of nursing and health care ensuring they practice independently and interdependently, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care.
Responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.
About you
AHPRA Registration
Recent demonstrated experience in a perioperative role desirable.
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
