About the role
 
We are looking for experienced anaesthetic nurses to join our dynamic, passionate and friendly perioperative team. If you have recent experience in peri-anesthesia nursing and are looking for casual work, we have employment vacancies right now.

Perioperative Nurses form an integral and invaluable component of the high-quality nursing care and patient management delivered at Calvary John James Hospital. As a Registered Nurse specialising in Anaesthetics, you will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive, safe and holistic care for patients throughout the perioperative period.

Whilst delivering optimal patient centred care, you will demonstrate Calvary’s key values of Hospitality, Healing, Stewardship and Respect in daily practice. Amongst our unit of high performing individuals, you will work within a supportive team and maintain professional relationships. Your main duties will include:
  • Provision of outstanding person -centred care within the role of anaesthetic nursing.
  • Participant in the provision of evidence-based practice in a supportive environment.
  • Be a part of a highly effective team.
About you
  • Recent experience as a peri anaesthesia nurse
  • AHPRA registration
  • Desire to be part of a passionate and committed team
  • Demonstrated ability to be a member of a family-like team
  • Demonstrated understanding of quality improvement and accreditation standards
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and constructive relationships
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team with the ability to manage priorities and a busy workload
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development and education
