About the role
The Registered Nurse is responsible for managing the clinical care needs of the residents across the home, supporting their individual needs, wishes and goals within an environment where they feel valued and treated with dignity and respect.
The Registered Nurse provides clinical leadership to the team in consultation with the Home Manager and Clinical Care Coordinator to ensuring the team understand who the residents are including their identity, culture, diversity, beliefs and life experiences. The position of Registered Nurse is part of an integrated team of people working within an established and agreed framework supporting the resident to live their best life.
We are currently seeking experienced and qualified Registered Nurses to join the team at St Francis!
What you bring
Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA)
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the legislation governing aged care
Commitment to contemporary aged care practice
Ability to support and lead a multi-disciplinary team
Demonstrate knowledge and experience in assessment and care planning of the older person
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
