As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Ward 5C is an 18–22 bed inpatient unit specializing in the care and treatment of patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. Our team on 5C is well-established and highly skilled, offering a welcoming, supportive environment. We pride ourselves on delivering complex, compassionate care to a diverse group of patients.

Role details

• Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time roles available
• Salary Classification: Registered Nurse, Year 2-8.
• Remuneration: $39.51 to $52.62 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading

Selection criteria (Essential)

• Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting and a genuine interest in haematology nursing.
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
• Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills.

Pre-employment conditions:

• Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
• Successfully complete pre-employment checks.  Checks include: reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC.
• Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
