About the role
 
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our Day Oncology/ Haematology Unit. As a day Oncology/ Haematology Nurse you will have the unique opportunity to make a profound impact on patients' lives. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our patients and health care teams to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Your main duties will include:
  • Providing care to patients with a variety of oncology and haematology conditions
  • Working in a dynamic team, in a fast paced environment
  • Participate in Quality Activities at unit level
  • Knowledge of and a demonstrated commitment to quality processes and evidence based practice
About you
  • Currently registered with AHPRA
  • Experience in Oncology/ Haematology day chemotherapy nursing
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Completed eviQ ADAC Version 4 competencies - or working towards
  • Demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality patient care and services
  • Works well autonomously and in a team
