About you

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. 
The Gibson Unit – is a Palliative/Oncology/Medical Ward. Includes inpatient unit and a vibrant day infusion unit; that provides a variety of treatments and procedures.

We are after a variety of permanent Registered Nurse roles, including;

-Registered Nurse – Permanent Full Time (Fully rotational shift worker and Day Unit staff required).
-Registered Nurse - Permanent Night Shifts - FTE negotiable.
Pay rate is dependent on Enterprise Agreement and experience - $41.70 - $50.98 per hour + super

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients and nursing staff.
• Practice within Calvary’s Mission and values of healing, hospitality, respect and stewardship.
• Ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.

What you bring 

• AHPRA Registration
• At least 2 years experience in oncology and palliative care
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
• Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
