About the role
 
We are seeking experienced Theatre Scrub/Scout Enrolled and Registered Nurses to join our Operating Theatre Suite at Calvary North Adelaide Hospital. 
 
Permanent Full-time, Part-time and Casual opportunities available. 

At Calvary North Adelaide Hospital (CNAH), our operating theatre suite features:

  • 7 Operating Theatres and 3 Procedural Rooms
  • Our specialties include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Bariatrics, General Surgery, Urology, ENT, Oro-Maxillofacial, Plastics, and Ophthalmology
  • Caring for both Adult and Paediatric surgical patients

Our theatres operate over a 6-day rotating roster (Mon-Sat) with early and late shifts - No Night Shift required. After hours emergency theatres are supported by our On-call roster with an experienced nursing team. 

What you bring 

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Recent clinical experience in scrub scout nursing
  • Knowledge of ACORN and NSQHS Standards 
  • Demonstrates a proactive, can-do attitude with a strong commitment to delivering work to the highest standards
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Ability to deliver high standards of communication, problem solving-skills, and exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrates a commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning within the perioperative environment
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
