  • Remuneration: $42.36 - $43.76 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
 

The Role:

 

We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our CMN Pharmacy team in a temporary, full-time position. Our Pharmacy Team is integral to the delivery of high-quality health care. The Pharmacy department provides a comprehensive pharmacy service to patients during their admission to hospital and for those attending outpatient clinics. The dedicated pharmacy team work collaboratively to provide medications in a safe and timely manner with a focus on patient-centred care. Your main duties will include:

 

  • Assist with the provision of pharmacy services to wards, clinics and departments at CMN.
  • Support vital pharmacy operations by assisting in medication dispensing, extemporaneous manufacturing and pre-packing under pharmacist supervision.
  • Perform daily imprest supply to wards and departments and assist with ward stock control. Play a hands-on role in maintaining dispensary efficiency including unpacking orders, rotating stock, and preparing daily workspaces.
  • Ensure safety and compliance by monitoring fridge temperatures, managing expiry dates, and supporting stocktake activities.
  • Be part of a dynamic team contributing to seamless daily and weekend operations and assisting across all Pharmacy areas to ensure quality patient care.

About You:

  • Completion of a nationally recognised Pharmacy Technician Certificate Course of Certificate Level IV or equivalent
  • Demonstrated pharmacy dispensing experience with high level competency
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and productively as an effective team member in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Demonstrated high attention to details and high accuracy at work
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate well with the other team members
  • Commitment to the mission, vision and values of Calvary and the ability and desire to uphold these principles at all times.
