Cath Lab Nurse Unit Manager – St Vincent’s Hospital, Launceston
About the role:
The Nurse Unit Manager of the Cardiac Catheter Laboratory (Cardiac Cath Lab), is an integral part of Calvary’s Leadership team. Reporting directly to the Director of Clinical Services, the Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for administrative and clinical management of the Cardiac Cath Lab providing the highest standard of patient care. The NUM is a positive role model and acts as a leader to all staff of the Cardiac Cath Lab, setting behavioural and clinical expectations and keeping staff accountable to these expectations. The ability to provide ongoing education to junior staff is essential to ensure success in this role
The NUM will plan, coordinate and direct the implementation of clinical managerial decisions, evaluating outcomes and ensuring processes are in place to support educational and professional development relevant to the Cardiac Cath Lab in collaboration with the Calvary Launceston leadership team.
