This role is based across Calvary St John’s Hospital, South Hobart and Calvary Hospital, Lenah Valley. It is a permanent full‑time shift work position, working 76 hours per fortnight.

Shifts are rostered between 6:30am and 9:00pm, Monday to Sunday

The Patient Administration Officer is responsible for providing high‑quality frontline administrative support and ensuring an accurate and efficient patient journey.

Key duties include:

• Conducting patient admissions and discharges
• Managing patient reception and first point‑of‑contact services
• Performing private health fund eligibility checks
• Ensuring accurate collection and maintenance of patient information
• Reconciling daily banking and financial transactions
• Undertaking other administrative duties essential to patient services and hospital operations
